Why dive in Bali?
Bali lies within the Coral Triangle, where the Pacific and Indian Oceans meet. This creates a unique biodiversity with numerous corals and tropical reef fish. Bali offers ideal conditions for diving, with warm, clear water and excellent infrastructure.
Your holiday in Bali can be dedicated entirely to diving. At the same time, you can enjoy numerous natural and cultural highlights. After diving, temples, rice terraces, volcanoes and waterfalls are waiting to be explored.
Why dive with North Bali Divecenter?
The north of Bali lies far away from the island's major tourist hotspots. In particular, the northwest of Bali is still relatively unknown. Divers are also more familiar with the southeast, including Padangbai and Nusa Penida, or the east, including Amed and Tulamben.
The northwest is therefore much quieter. North Bali Divecenter is the only tourism business within a 10 km radius. Our coral reefs are largely undiscovered, and each reef has its own unique character. The diversity is incredible.
We dive in small groups of no more than four divers. As a result, you will usually have a boat and a reef all to yourselves. We also offer more than just diving, including beachfront accommodation, massages, excursions into the surrounding area and delicious Indonesian food.
With accommodation for a maximum of 16 divers, the atmosphere remains personal and relaxed. The experience is comparable to diving on a liveaboard.
How bad is mass tourism in Bali?
When people talk about mass tourism in Bali, they are mainly referring to the southern part of the island and, in particular, hotspots such as Kuta, Canggu and Ubud.
North of the mountain range that stretches from west to east across the island, Bali is still more unspoiled. Tourism plays a significantly smaller economic role there.
Where is the airport in Bali?
Bali has only one airport: I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), located in the south of the island. The distance to North Bali Divecenter is approximately 140 km, and the journey takes around four hours.

What visa do I need to enter Indonesia?
You can obtain a Visa on Arrival at the airport in Bali. However, it is easier to complete all entry formalities online before your departure.
